We have successfully completed a market fit testing with paying customers. We’re working with customers across several verticals including; FMCGs, Government, NGOs, Academia, media, and financial services. As we expand, we are looking to hire our first sales lead to build on our initial sales efforts. This includes hunting for leads, mapping enterprise accounts, and building demand for our core products. You will sit at the front of our go-to-market strategy and work closely with the Founder/CEO, marketing team and engineering team to develop the company’s pipeline and customer base. As the company expands, you will have many opportunities to grow into closing and leadership roles.
3+ years prior sales experience
High level of interest around enterprise SaaS and deep technology disruption
Empathy for customers, users, stakeholders, and decision makers
Ambitious but willing to be hands-on. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company but loves to get their hands dirty with cold calling, emailing, and sourcing potential customers
Exceptional interpersonal skills. Can communicate fluidly both externally and internally with founders, engineers, product managers, and more as the company expands.

The sales executive will be responsible for revenue generation for software solution targeted at various organisations who are interesting in collecting and analysing information. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, gathering market information, demo presentations of the service, and in some cases negotiating terms. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining close relationship with all clients and working with other team members to achieve business development objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the quality of products and services offered by JAMA
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline, completed NYSC or currently serving. The candidate must have at least 1 year sales or marketing experience -- prior experience marketing software solutions to businesses will be a plus. Effective at prioritization, have a high level of attention to detail and organization. The candidate must have proven proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
